What the club says: This spectacular course dates back to 1918 and has been extended and modified over the years by both Eddie Hackett and more recently, Donald Steel. This spectacular location on the Bartragh Peninsula, boasts some of the finest golfing terrain in the world and is famed for the magnificent sunsets that are seen from the impressive dunes. Enniscrone was the host to the Irish Close Championship in 1993.

Try it you know you want to
Where do I start, not a course to take lightly. I loved it but it was difficult. It feels like you are playing on your own because the dunes are so high, the fairways are undulating and disappear over the horizon. Will play it again next year, just to try and find some of my lost balls, the course and clubhouse are fabulous.Reviewer Rating
