What the club says: Enjoy the challenge of 18 holes around Elsham Golf Club. Our tranquil, well wooded course with an abundance of wildlife will provide you with the setting for a truly memorable day. You will enjoy a relaxing round on this easy walking course but it will test your ability to think your way round.
Each hole presents its own particular test to scratch and higher handicaps alike. After a straightforward par four start, the second hole presents a challenge. This 350 yard par 4 has a sharp dog leg to the right and an accurate tee shot is needed to present the best opportunity for a short iron second to a gentle undulating green guarded by trees and a stream on the left. The course measures 6,426 yards, par 71 for men and 5,682 yards, par 73 for ladies and is a fair and enjoyable test for any level of golfer.

Great condition
Considering the amount of rain we've had this was in immaculate condition. Fairways even gave some run and greens were quick and tricky.Reviewer Rating

Nicely kept, quality course with great food
We played on a fresh October morning and found the course in lovely condition with the greens running very true. Pro shop is very efficient and helped with buggies for our 7.30am start. Many of the holes are quite straight forward, with one or two dog legs to challenge your ability to hit straight. I would say there are only 2/3 holes which are very challenging so it makes for a nice round for all abilities. They have the thin bottomed flagsticks which I think are great and plenty of ball washers which some courses forget are needed in the winter. Afterwards we had hot gammon sandwiches which were amazing and a hot drink. All in all a great package and I would certainly recommend it in the better weather. If you are playing this course after autumn it becomes much wider as the trees with leaves narrow the fairways. So I would say this course is a better one for spring and summer if I am being totally honest.Reviewer Rating

Great course, nice layout, food amazing !
The course is lovely, nicely laid out, challenging but can allow you score points if you are accurate into the greens. We played it in March just before the trees regained their leaves and i reckon this course might be more challenging when they are back as they will narrow the course a bit more. A great experience and we will certainly play it again. The full English breakfast and bacon sandwiches were THE BEST we have ever had and believe me that is high praise as we play over 50 courses a year. Stunning food and great staff serving it. Thank you everyone !Reviewer Rating

Lovely course, well worth playing
The course was in excellent condition and despite some recent heavy rain, was still dry under foot. Some holes were challenging to add a bit of extra interest. My society thoroughly enjoyed it.
COVID restrictions meant a full menu was not available but food and drink was good and not expensive.

Nice Course & Friendly Staff
Played there last week as our home course is saturated and we fancied playing on greens rather than temps and from grass rather than from mats.Considering it is January the course was in great condition and the greens were very good for the time of year with consistent roll when putting.
Was impressed and would go back again in the summer.
I must mention that the staff in the pro shop and especially in the clubhouse were fantastic and were really friendly and helpful.
