What the club says: Edenmore has been open to the public since 1992. Situated on the beautiful Parkland of Edenmore House, off the Drumnabreeze Road Magheralin. The incredible tree lined avenue that approaches the Country Club delivers a mouth dropping WOW factor and stunning 1st impression. The elegant Country Club House truly is a touch of class with over 20,000sq ft of panoramic country side views untouched by car noise pollution. The mature parkland course is manicured with in creditable attention to detail with our premium green keeping team, who share the course with the wild squirrels and hares.

The course measures 5,723 yards, par 71 for men and 5,247 yards par 71 for ladies and is a fair and enjoyable test of golf for any level of golfer. The four par 5s are particularly interesting with the 15th Edenmore approach being acclaimed as one of the best par 5s. The iconic sweeping tree lined 18th Par 4 returns to the stunning Club House home of the Bailies restaurant and world class chef Ryan Mcfarland.

As a result of considerable expenditure on drainage systems and focus on our customer being at the forefront of everything we do, Edenmore is in play all the year round with no temporary greens nor course closures through heavy rain fall.

We pride ourselves on your visit being one to remember, whether you choose to book in for a round of golf, a gym work out, a luxury spa day, afternoon tea, a corporate day, a great dining experience, or your wedding Edenmore has it covered.

Exceptional condition

Exceptional condition, particularly the greens and surrounds. A strong test, but still scoreable with good play.

Shorter than some

Well drained and some elevation changes this course has few hole that always prove a challenge. In particular the par three holes arn't easy and one par four is tucked into a tight corner making it a risk reward hole. Good clubhouse and reasonable resturant adds to the experiance.

A little hilly but this makes this course more interesting. I would normally get a buggie find myself disappointed when reading the last hole as I was enjoying the round so much. Water dosn't or shouldn't really come into play but three out of our football but balls in the lake. The clubhouse had a good view of the eighteenth green to watch the other golfers in your group finishing.

Not the greatest of golf courses. To rate the course: Its very wet all year round, greens are poor, lose balls in the rough, bunkers are poor, tee boxes uneven - no real care taken. At £28 its a bit of rip off...you;d rather play Down Royal. To rate the facilities: Edenmore lead the way in club house, restaurant, gym, pro shop - you can't fault it. They have one of the best pro's in Northern Ireland aswell - great for lessons. Shame the owners won;t put money into the course as it lets it down....
