What the club says: Established in 1893, we're a club with a proud tradition, and a well-earned reputation for friendliness and hospitality. The club has been based at Loganswell to the south of Newton Mearns for some 80 years, having relocated from its original site in Orchard Park, Giffnock, on the south side of Glasgow in the 1930's - hence the "Eastwood" name. As a consequence of the extension of the M77 in the early 2000's, development of eight brand new holes was undertaken and we have remodelled the greens and tees on the holes that remain from the old course. First play on the "new course" took place on 28th June 2003.

Now some 7 years later, the fairways and rough have become established, and the new area of the course has a feeling of maturity and intregration with the retained parts of the original course. The course provides a fantastic challenge, and we invite golfers of all standards to put our wonderful new course to the test.

Fantastic course bit up and down but at 62 years still managed a round with a little puff left.
Unfortunately course is now closed down. Course has been sold and new owner is considering reopening as a pay and play . So fingers crossed

Every club in the bag

Play it now it may not be available for long looking for a buyer.
It would be shame if it was lost to golf.

Mr

My home course so a bit biased but a great course for the thinking golfer not just a hit and put every club in the bag needed,
A bit hilly but nothing to strenuous older guys may struggle two rounds in the one day. Best hospitality in gathering South Of Glasgow recommenced if you are in the area.

Had one of my best golfing experiences on this course. First few holes are pretty straightforward then the course comes into it's own. Yes there are some elevations, that's what makes it interesting and challenging. It's wide open, so you can spray it around. Middle to end of the course is a cracking layout. Greens and bunkers were in good order. Staff and members very friendly.

Lovely course. Quite hilly so at least a trolley is recommended. Superb drainage, except for 17th hole which is the lowest part of the course. Perfect green for all season use. Friendly staff. Not intimidating even for a new comer. Definitely recommended.
