What the club says: Located between Abingdon and Didcot we are a short distance from the A34 interchanges and have ample parking. We have a challenging course offering varied holes with tree lined fairways and several lakes rewarding the golfer who thinks about each shot. Tighter fairways with short rough favour accurate placement – there are five dogleg par 4’s, four challenging par 5’s and 6 par 3 holes. At 6473 yards off the white tees the course is enjoyable for golfers of all handicaps, although it is most rewarding for those golfers who can keep their ball on the straight and narrow.

Horrendous Greens
I’ve played on loads of courses where greens have been spiked but I’ve never seen anything like the first 8 greens. Huge lumps of sand left all over them and vehicle tracks all across greens that when the ball hits them it just follows grooves - no refund given, do not okay this course until spring!Reviewer Rating

Just awful....avoid
Greens are the worst we've played this year. Not sure if they have professional green keepers but honestly it's embarrassing. We accept hollow tining this time if year but the holes were huge, little care spreading the sand. Looks like they drove over on a tractor meaning putts had to negotiate deep deep tracks, huge holes and clumps of sand. Paid £25 and no apology, just shrug of the shoulders. The club house looks the most unwelcoming place possible, no wonder it was empty. We won't be return until next spring and it's just not worth a visit. Fairways were extremely muddy and again, loads of tractor tyre tram lines. The only positive I can think of is that it did not rain.Reviewer Rating

Enjoyable, interesting and good value.
I work at Milton Park and have been looking for the perfect after work golf course and I think I’ve found it here at Drayton. The layout is interesting, the greens were in top condition and quick. Best of all I can get 18 in with little disruption and no members cutting in on the 10th unlike other courses I have tried! The only negative of which nothing can be done is the close proximity of the A34 & the amount of pylons on and around the course but I expect this would easily double the price of the green fee. Bonus, a friendly Pro Shop and Bar too. Will definitely be coming back.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 84 Handicap: 7.8)
