Tight fairways
Found down a narrow country lane into a smallish carpark. Friendly welcome in the clubhouse and at £18 for 9 holes or £25 for 18 a very reasonable cost. The parkland type course is easy to follow but is anything but easy to play with accuracy being key into small greens. The course opens up for a few holes with a bit more forgiveness when using a driver with a bit of power behind it. The greens in truth are not the best with lots of worm casts but decent enough. One word of warning though - take insect repellent as the horsefies were vicious and persistent. The manager was engaging and nothing too much trouble post round - well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A woodland valley gem
Played this course when on holiday in West Wales. It was a pleasant day during the week and I literally had the course to myself. The course and holes are quite short with several par 3s. However, it was a great challenge and you have to avoid letting all the water hazards play with your head. Accuracy is key and it's not a course for those who like showy drives. Great little course and would like to return in the future. I'd play it a lot if I lived there.Reviewer Rating
