What the club says: A true test of golf and a challenge to all golfers, with rolling fairways, blind second shots and excellent greens. The pace and consistency combined with natural borrows makes the course a great choice.

Well hidden gem
Very enjoyable course set in mature woodland. Fantastic views in to the valleys below. Course is kept in very good order with lots of helpful signage around. Course condition was very good with front 9 in particular being in very good nick. Handy to have the fantastic revenue earner and imposing wind turbine at the highest point to help with your bearings. Both the members and staff we met were super friendly. The only question mark left in our minds was why so quiet on an August Saturday? Maybe the good folk of Crook don’t appreciate what a fantastic course they have !!

slow greens
I enjoyed a quiet round.on a September afternoon there were very few people on the course. Coming from Norfolk I found the hilly terrain hard work but enjoyable. The greens seemed to have a lot of grass on, which made them very slow indeed. They were really too slow to be enjoyable, but maube I just chose the wrong day to visit. Midweek greebfee was £20.Reviewer Rating
