What the club says: The course plays 6378 yards off white tees, 6082 off yellows and 5788 off reds. A combination of natural contours, mature woodland and artfully placed bunkers provides a test for low and higher handicappers alike.
A members Club set on free draining chalk downland and offers beautiful views of the South Downs National Park.

Beautiful course. A reasonable challenge but you can get away with the odd wayward shot. Reasonably flat. Nice facilities...

Expensive package, food, service etc excellent. Course was mainly in good condition although we spent too long looking for balls, as the rough in a lot of places was next to the fairway with an absence of semi rough.. Greens were a little patchy.Reviewer Rating

Condition in late September both fairways and greens, signage on course, friendliness of staff. Food was excellent as well.

Disgraceful
Played this course with a friend as we were looking to move our membership potentially. Was charged £50 per player only to find out as we were playing the course that the entire 18 holes was on temporary greens and tees. At no point did the pro shop reference this or give any kind of discount prior to playing. Really, really poor experience. The course is one of the dullest in the area - AVOID!Reviewer Rating

The course is a good forgiving society venue . The greens and most fairways were in good condition. Unfortunately the blot on my day was being confronted by the rudest , most obnoxious member of staff that I have ever encountered in the service industry.

Really Good Greens
Not a 'premium' course on paper, but really good Greens, fast and true and comparable to the very best. The rest of the Course overall very good, but looked a little tired in areas. The Course lay out is interesting, a few parallel holes particularly on the front nine, but some interesting holes along the way. The whole day was very enjoyable from the arrival of Coffee and Bacon Sandwhich to the course which was in superb condition considering the time of year not matched by our golf. We then had an excellent 2 course xmas meal where the food was very good and the staff very attentive.Reviewer Rating
