What the club says: We were established in 1887, our course is the only true links course in Yorkshire and we are also one of the oldest courses in the county. The course offers easy walking and is a fair challenge to players of all abilities.

A great challenge in the wind

Not the truest of links formats - but still a proper links challenge. A tough summer but greens incredible, friendly members and very very quick play

Good condition links course

Rated in the top 100 England courses under £60pr, However having read through the list I would put a number of courses ahead of it. That said it is well maintained particularly the greens that were excellent. Quite a bit of GUR. Incredibly windy day that made playing challenging. Some very narrow fairways and as per usual on a links course off fairway was punative.

Fantastic links course.

Cleveland is a fantastic course and a great test of anyone’s game. Rough is penal if you stray too far wide. Areas between fairways when off line at least offered the opportunity to find your ball. Greens excellent ran fast and true. Very friendly members and staff especially Craig House manager and Ian one of the greens staff.

Greens in pristine condition

Played winter tees at Cleveland golf course today and the course was in good condition. Quite a bit of G.I.R. but great to see all areas of the course been addressed ahead of the winter months. The greens were absolutely pristine and a great place to play golf all year round.
