Hugely under-rated Golf Course
Great course layout with no silly holes. Tremendously lush, undulating greens.A real gem of a golf course and an absolute bargain at £30 per head in an area where golf is, on the whole, overpriced.
Bunkers need work and new sand but, that apart, I couldn't find fault with the golf course.

Extremely Dissapointing
The course is a mess. Bunkers aren't fit for my child to play in let alone hit a bunker shot from. Flies everywhere and the changes to the course have made it worse. Craters on the 4th and 11th make for ugly viewing.Reviewer Rating

Great day
Awesome golf course and the club chef behind the bar cooks up a mean fish and chips. Hearing about major improvements for this course and it's certainly value for moneyReviewer Rating

Mrs Hutchison
Very disappointed in the course, it appeared unkept and bunkers left infilled at the 11th hole and others, rolls of turf left laying at the side of greens, it looks like this course is being left unmanaged and if I was a member I certainly would be complaining. The club house is dirty and there is a general lack of interest in customers utilising this course and club house. What a shame as it such a lovely area!Reviewer Rating

Simply the Worst!
Played Charleton yesterday. On the plus side, staff were friendly and welcoming, and there are stunning views over the Firth of Forth from the top of the course. Greens were pretty good, with subtle breaks.Unfortunately that was as good as it got. The rest of the course was a mess. Fairways were poorly cut and maintained, and semi-rough was so long that we lost several balls within a yard of the fairway. The whole course had an unkempt and scruffy appearance. We learned that the Head Greenkeeper had 'left' the previous week, and a new Greenkeeper had started that morning. He has a big job on his hands turning Charleton round!!

I like this course
Charleton golf course is kept in good condition, not too hard but, The now the rough is punishing if you go into it, its a lost ball, first 9 is a little hilly, second 9 flatter. At the moment they are building two new bunkers on 4th and another on the 11th. The longest hole is the 13th although fairly straightforward I think this hole is murder(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 96 Handicap: )
