What the club says: Located 3 miles from Carmarthen town centre set in the stunning Carmarthenshire countryside, and is regarded as one of the finest golf courses in Wales. Golf has been played here since 1907, designed by J H Taylor who really left his mark.
The course is carved through the Gwili Valley and offers a parkland layout that will challenge you and excite you at the same time. The view can only be described as breath taking.

On arrival we asked to book a buggie but we’re met with a reply of none were charged even though one was outside the pro shop ( it just seemed that it was too much to do) A reasonably challenging parkland course with some lovely views. Some of the greens were in need of some maintenance with several bare areas especially the 18th. We paid £35 each which I thought was expensive due to the condition of some greens. To cap it all When we finished the club house was closed.

Superb Venue
First time I have played here and it didn't disappoint. The greens were like carpets in comparison to plenty of other courses in the locality, really interesting layout with many risk/reward holes.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17)

3 of us played on a Wednesday for ten pounds each with a coffee and bacon sandwich thrown in!! Very friendly secretary who explained course lay out. Really enjoyed the challenging course. Unbelievable value.

A difficult track always in the very best of condition. The club house is very good with views over the course . The catering is excellent. Pro could not be more helpful. Unfortunately at the entrance and in the changing rooms there was a most unpleasant smell. A member told me there was a known problem with the drains.

First venture to this club. Made welcome immediately and couldn't do enough for us. The pro briefed us as a society before we ventured out a first fro us. The course is an ideal venue for societies. Any club that wins Welsh Golf Club of the year must be doing things right. Some testing holes Scorecard incorporates hole plans.The clubhouse feels very traditional with views of the course . Catering very good .

Stunning views, Course is in tremendous condition, the pro made us feel extremely welcome and the catering is fantastic too. Its a must visit course if your in the area!
