What the club says: Cardross Golf Club was founded in 1895. The current golf course layout benefited from design changes recommended by James Braid, which were implemented in 1921.
Cardross has also played host to the Scottish Professional Championships in 1992, which was won by the then future Open Champion Paul Lawrie.
Generous undulating fairways and large deciduous trees are features of the golf course and it tends to play much longer than the yardage suggests.

Nice course
A wet day but the course stood up well to the constant rain. Course presentation was excellent and the greens were in very good order. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Only criticism would be the size of the tree in the middle of the fairway at the 14th.Reviewer Rating

a wonderful golf course fairways and greens in pristine condition apart from 1 green where there was a few unrepaired pitch marks which is no fault of the greenkeepers a stamina sapping test as the course is set in the hillside of carmen highly recommended....footnote if you want food be aware that they only serve until 15:00Reviewer Rating
