Good parkland course needs a bit of investment but some testing holes and good for the price.

Good value, nice views, a bit 'scrappy'

A tough course all round. It's a municipal but not the best kept. They do well with public access allowed for walks etc. Brilliant value in the afternoons, just over a tenner for 18. Lovely views of Cannock Chase woods and surrounding areas, especially up top on 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th. (Has anyone ever thought of keeping office open later in the summer, there are loads of people getting free games and you are losing revenue!)

Pleasant walk

The course is next to a leisure centre and this had an event on so parking was tricky. It may be a good idea to check with the club before you book. It is a lively course. It was in good nick but some of the greens are tricky. One, in particular, is a no go past the pin. The out downhill will roll ten yards off the green. Thinking you way round helps a lot, and driver is not the club for many of the par 4s. Lovely views and a warm welcome. Not too demanding, in terms of hills, etc. A good place to play in fine weather and a very pleasant walk.

Greens were not great. Short course but never easy. Some of the greens have some right slopes within them.

Lovely course tee to green but the greens are really not in good condition. It was a bit like crazy golf on the greens

Nice, some challenge, bit muddy

It's a nice course to go round. Good value for money. Friendly staff. Noted that there were not really fairways cut as such, so in the winter you're just playing on muddy grass. Played well on first 9 though.

Enjoyable round of Golf

This is a great course for the amateur?.the holes can be very forgiving if you stray but also provide some great challenges. Course maintenance is good, greens are decent?all in a very enjoyable 18 holes of golf????????

Short but a great course????????

I really like this course and the challenge it provides, a mix of 3?s & 4?s and is very suitable for the amateur golfer. There is no club house as such as it is situated next to a leisure centre.

I played my first round at Cannock Park golf course today and really enjoyed it. I have just taken up golf again after a long layoff (roughly 7 years) the corse in kept in good condition and has some challenging holes. I am glad I invested in an electric trolley to help with some of the hills.
I am seriously considering becoming a member now I have tried it.
