What the club says: Callan is a parkland course with well placed spinneys,
water features on 8 holes, and maintained to a very high standard.
The Ladies Course is 5436 yards with a par of 72 and SSS of 71. The Mens Course is 6362 yards from the blue tees with a SSS of 71.
The Professional course record is 67 gross held by Club Professional John O'Dwyer. The Amateur record is 66 gross held by Brian Duggan scr.
Holes 3 to 7 holes especially, require accuracy off the tee, this part of the course has been in play since 1929.
