What the club says: This hilly woodland course is situated to the east of the city of Glasgow, next to the zoo and is much tougher than its first seems.

Much better the second time, so be sure to play 2 rounds
A real test, perhaps the purist would like to see fewer blind shots, but your skill will be tested. Excellent greens, and fairways and the par 3s are no pushover, I only played an iron from one of them, the rest needed recovery or fairway woods. F.Y.I. I play off 15 and carry my 3 wood 190 yards. The welcome was brilliant, and the catering excellent. My experience was not influenced by me having a great round, far from it. I was a visitor, playing in an inter club team match, and had my share of treble boggeys.

Greens are in excellent condition with panoramic views across Glasgow.
9 hole course but ideal for those looking for a quality round of golf at a very reasonable price (now offering 9 holes for £10 midweek).
Well worth a visit.

Every hole has a good feature like shared greens or playing over another fairway but the height differential between some of the tees and the greens is a real attraction. Thanks to the secretary and members for making our visit a memorable day out.
