I live very close to The Brow and play it regularly. 2nd and 6th holes, despite the small greens, are pretty easy to birdie, being dead straight and under 100 yards! All the par 4\'s are fairly short but pretty challenging for different reasons: the blind summit and pond on the 1st, the enormous patch of dry, brackeny stuff right in front of the 3rd green, the hornet\'s nest on the 7th tee! Normally quiet outside of competitions. Beautiful views and bacon butties! Exceptionally good value, 27 holes are viable, and only £14 for unlimited golf!\

The course is excellent to spend a day just practiceing pitching & chipping as the greens are small & tight. Greens themselves are not brilliant but playable. Course layout very challenging & you need to keep the ball down the middle. Wed morning seems to be busy with the seniors & again Sundays.

For the money great but as a golf course for people to travel miles to I wouldn't be coming again, good for the money though

Great course, tricky even for the experienced golfer. We went on a busy Wednesday morning, I think it would be best to check which days to go before you go. Despite it being busy they still managed to fit us in. Lovely countryside and views for miles around. Owners were very friendly and the food in the club house was delicious and very cheap. Some reviews say poor greens but I think they were really good. Well maintained course for a family business. We talked to the owners about the history of the place and they were able to tell us a lot. We will definitely be back, especially as it was only £14 to play all day.

More of a drive, pitch and putt course than a full course that you normally expect. The greens are small, which keeps the challenge good and fair but you're not going to 3 putt much if ever and puts the emphasis strongly on your short game. It is set in beautiful countryside and is a real up and downer which makes distance judgement tricky (especially with few distance markers!). Good value for money, especially if you have the time to go round for more than 18 holes, and definitely a step up from a municipal course.

Beautiful little course with lovely views of the countryside. The course was great fun to play well worth the low fees and the food and service in the clubhouse was brilliant. Will be back.

Not a course for the serious golfer..interesting lay out and good scenery. However the greens are a joke, worse than my back garden..fairways hadn't been cut for about a week. Worth about £5 for a round but not £15

The course is excellent and in great condition given the tyoical British weather! Although it is a short course, it is challenging even for the most experienced players! I would defknitely recommend a game, whether you have all day or a few hours. The owners are extremely friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The food served in the club house is wonderful, cheap as well. You would pay top prices for the food they serve! Highly recommended.
