Everything you might expect
I played the Red course and it was everything you might imagine. Well, if you were expecting six par 3's, six par 4's and six par 5's. The greens, tees and fairways were all in excellent condition, and there are just so many wonderfully framed holes. Some of the bunkers looked fearsome but fortunately I only went in one. The heather I visited way too often however. This is a lovely course, but I imagine that you already knew that.

An absolute gem of a course
This is truly a must play venue if you have a bucket list. Great clubhouse, great food, fantastic courses, very welcoming, well stocked shop, brilliant facilities, the only downside is the price, doesn't need to be over £200.Reviewer Rating

Millionaires golf!
Played the red course yesterday as a artisans guest & it was as if we had the course to ourselves we never saw another player on our coarse. Very challenging but beautifully manicured course. Going out seemed to be easier than coming in, it's pars are 6 of each so a longish track, hilly approach shots is quite a common theme- the last few greens were some of the trickiest I have ever played (upside down saucer job!) but personally I had a great round for me (handicap 25) 5 pars & a birdie Toal 95. If you ever get the opportunity to play here don't hesitate- apparently the blue course is slightly easier hopefully I will find that out soon.Reviewer Rating

The Berkshire Blue.
We have been waiting to play here for 3 years. It was worth the wait, superb course, lovely condition, the only criticism would be the lack of sand in the bunkers. Other than that a superb day out.Reviewer Rating

Quintessential English Heathland Course
This is a proper Golf Club, set in an exquisite rolling Pine Forest. Definitely, a must-play in the Ascot/East Berkshire area - in fact, in the entire South East.Reviewer Rating

Top quality course in Berkshire
There are two 18 hole courses (Red & Blue) both are exceptional despite recently having extensive course maintenance l, which we were advised of ahead of our booking. We played the Red in the morning followed by the Blue in the afternoon. Personally the Red won it for me, however that could have been because we played it first and every hole is beautifully presented and therefore by the time we played the Blue we were so used to how good the set up was. Both tough courses with thick heather and fast greens (although the Blue had more sand from the recent work on the greens). Staff and members friendly, facilities exceptional as you'd expect from a premium course. It is not cheap to play but take the day card option and play both courses to get maximum value for money.Reviewer Rating
