What the club says: The course is parkland measuring 6813 yards, par 73, standard scratch 73, and can prove a real test of golf, particularly in windy conditions. All but 3 holes were part of the former opencast coal site. A large number of conifer and deciduous trees and shrubs have been planted which have now matured giving beautiful tree lined fairways. The course demands good straight drives and accurate iron play into tight and bunkered greens.
The facilities include generous practice areas for putting, chipping and bunker shots and a separate practice area for general irons and woods practice. Experienced pro shop staff, excellent catering and a warm welcome awaits you at Bedlingtonshire Golf Club.

Fantastic condition!
Bedlingtonshire is a relatively long course, starting with two par 5s to ease you in and good variety of challenges throughout the course to ensure you don't lose interest.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course
Tough course, particularly off the whites, although the yellows are tricky as well. Quite long, so you need to drive well, and the 13th and 15th are tight off the tee. However, it's a good challenge and some really nice holes, good facilities too. All in all, well worth the green fee.Reviewer Rating

Excellent Course
What a fantastic setup this is. Really good short game practice area, good welcome in the pro shop and a very well presented course. Only thing missing is a driving range. The course is long but wide and at times is a tough test but there are opportunities to score. The back nine is superb as is the clubhouse for an after round drink. For the price this is a must play course.

Great course
Haven't played here for 7 years before today, but on reflection I shouldn't have left it this long. Quite a long course, so you need to make the most of the par 5's. Also has it's own 'Amen Corner', with 2 tough par 4's (especially if you fade the ball off the tee!) and a par 3. Condition was great, and the set up of the course is excellent. Well worth a round of golf.Reviewer Rating

We all had a great day at the Bedlington seniors open, course is always in fantastic condition and even if you haven’t had the best first 9 holes you can enjoy a lovely bacon bap/ tea, coffee at the halfway house! The competition is always well organised and staff very friendly.
