What the club says: The course is continually maturing, trees planted in the early days are now to be seen in their full beauty and the fairways and greens would do justice to many a more famous course. There are stunning views of the Belfast Lough, the Antrim Hills, the Irish Sea and the coast of Scotland from the top of the 4th hill and the view from the Clubhouse windows, after a successful round cannot be beaten.
Due to the professional and untiring efforts of the ground staff and successive Councils, the course has attracted some major events, including the Ulster and Irish Professional Championships and Pro-Ams in which such names as Christy O'Connor Senior, Fred Daly, Peter Allis, Tony Jacklin and Roberto de Vincenzo featured. The professional record was set up in August 1962 when Christy O'Connor senior scored 62 with nine birdies, eight pars and an eagle at the 460 yard 5th hole.

Wet day
After all the rain we had it was very wet under foot which was a shame. Some of the veiws were over the loch were lovely. There where a lot of leaves which made finding the bal haard. I am hoping to come back to play this and a few other courses in the near future, and hope it has stopped raining!!(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 16)

Excellent parkland course in the heart of Bangor
A well manicured course with greens in superb condition. During the winter months can get wet and heavy going due to excess rain. Good practice facilities with a covered artificial teeing area, green and bunker.Reviewer Rating

What can I say???
Not a bad course, a bit boggy in parts due to all the rain we've had this year but overall in fair condition. Greens were a bit slow but looked as tho they had been topped dressed recently, also full of pitch mark damage. Very little golf etiquette observed here. no matter how slow they are no-one lets you pay through.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 18.1)

Lovely Course
Really nice course and well laid out. Only gripe would be the lack of any water hazards. Pro Shop staff friendly.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 102 Handicap: 22.6)
