Overpriced Range

Went to the range last year and was able to fill a bucket with at least 20 balls for a pound. Returned yesterday with the opening of outdoor ranges to find that one pound now only bought 10 balls. Absolute joke, will not be returning any time soon, at least until they can up the ball amount or down the price. The actual 14 hole course was more of a field than a course. Only went to the range in the first place as it was quiet enough and 20 balls for a pound was decent value. If you enjoy hitting balls into a hill (the range is built into a hill) and want to struggle to hit over 150 yards then this is the place for you!

I have a holiday apartment in Enniskillen and one thing that I looked forward to was playing the 14hole par 3Ashwood and had great respect for the owner, Michael O'Nolan. We always had a chat before and after our game. I was so shocked when on my last visit to see the shop was closed and although I was aware that Michael was unwell, I was shocked when I called up to his house, behind the course, only to be met with a tearful Wife. She explained that Michael had passed away a couple weeks ago and I for one will miss him every visit to Enniskillen. As gentlemen so Michael was number one. Michael and I are of different faiths but this drew us closer and we always solved the worlds problems!! A true Christian gentlemen. I will miss our chats. Thanks Michael and I know that you are resting in peace

This course is ideal if your not a golf snob. It is a basic par 3 course with a few tricky holes, ideal for a day out with teenage son. You can play at your own pace and the views from the top if you make it up are great. We played it twice over 3 days and the greenkeeper worked none stop on the greens and fairways.Its not a 5 star course, but at £15 for a adult and child neither is the price.

Greens are badly mantianed £5 for under 16 member you can go to mony other 18 hole golf clubs in the local area for 10-20 pounds and a more demanding challenge although this course is ideal for beginners who are looking to play the sport many of the holes can easily be birdied with an 9 iron and putter.
