What the club says: It is difficult to find a more spectacular links course than Ardglass. With the front five holes hugging the Irish Sea, the blustery winds and meandering fairways demand the utmost accuracy from tee to green. Ardglass has been favourably compared to the other great links courses of Northern Ireland.

Super Links but overcrowded
I actually stayed in Ardglass during this years open at Portrush on the strength of loving my past experiences on the golf course. Much as I loved playing the superb course again my experience this time was less enjoyable because in the two years since my last visit its popularity has soared and tee times are solidly booked from early morning to early evening mostly with four balls. Great for the club and course and if you haven't played it yet you really must but its now off my list of "must play when I am in Ireland again"Reviewer Rating

Links at their best
Ardglass was a great experience. The Pro Shop was very welcoming and helpful, caddies are available if you want one but we didn't find it necessary after purchasing the course guide. The course is typical links, punishing if you are not straight, the odd unlucky bounce and lost ball if you are too wide. Every aspect of the course was in excellent condition. Practice facilities are limited to short game and a net. If you are anywhere near this course play it!Reviewer Rating

Excellent course right on the coast so when the wind blows....
Currently redeveloping parts of the course so the excellent par 3 2nd is currently closed though heaven knows how it could be improved as a hole?
The old 17th currently back in play as a result of the 2nd closure.
Overall excellent course and greens and definitely worth playing if you are playing as a society otherwise a bit too expensive in my opinion!
