What the club says: This is a public course situated on the outskirts of Kilmarnock. Parkland in nature and with a par of 71 it is located in the grounds of the Annanhill estate. Its tree-lined fairways are fairly wide, so wayward shots are not so greatly punished.

A gem of a course outside Kilmarnoch, Greens and fairways in excellent condition, would have given a 10 star rating had the Clubhouse had been open for food and refreshment

Amazing course would definitely recommend, the staff are really friendly and the golf boards are brilliant .

hilly course
This course is in great nick after closing for covid. It is a bit hilly but well worth the effort(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 21.8)

Great course
Course is in great condition despite the heavy rain. The rough isn't too punishing but some greens very challenging to hit in reg. Love playing this course and great value for money.Reviewer Rating

Good course. Played off the white tees, found the course to be long but great to play. If you play definetly have a bacon roll before your round.

Gone downhill
Played for first time in about 6 years recently and was shocked at the state of it.It has gone way downhill since I last played it.
Council course and they are obviously not putting any money into it any more . . . . shame, it used to be a decent course.
Try Caprington if you want to play a good course at a decent price.

This course is not well maintained and the greens are diseased and bumpy. (In fact most have heavy tractor ruts across them) As they course has now been surrounded by the new housing estate every man and his dog, pardon the pun, are walking their dogs on the course. I counted 20, yes really 20 dogs and their owners walking across fairways and greens. I'm glad my insurance was up to date? I strongly recommend you do not play this course unless you're just learning and need long iron practice. When travelling to Scotland I was told to try a municipal course as they're just as good as the private courses... well I'm sorry this is not one of them.
