What the club says: The Course, 6404 yards, par 71, SSS 72, was designed by J.H.Taylor and Fred Hawtree in 1930, and is well known for its variety of demanding holes through wooded glades and picturesque parkland. Set in the grounds of Addington Palace, the previous home of Archbishops of Canterbury, we boast consistently well-manicured greens throughout the year. The course provides an interesting challenge for high and low handicap golfers alike.

Really tough course
Maybe just me but this felt more like a 150 slope rating. 3rd hole is so difficult - no margin for error. Course is in great condition, greens are v good.Reviewer Rating

The course is in fantastic condition, greens are fast and undulating, the only criticism I have is that the bunkers are full of stones and have precious little sand in themReviewer Rating

Good looking course with tricky greens
A few signature holes some tight holes early on but opens up around the turn. Course generally in good condition, pretty dry even though after wet days. Greens had been recently treated but were fast and true, most greens had tricky cambers. Good pace of play, a little pricey.Reviewer Rating

Great character
It was nice to play a course where you think your way around as opposed to just bringing out the driver at every opportunity.Greens and tee's were in amazing condition giving that we haven't seen rain for so long. Bravo!!

Superb course in outstanding conditions
Played a two ball Monday afternoon round as visitors following a period of heavy storm. Friendly pro-shop and members, lovely practice green set in a elegant court yard. Short game area and nets also avavailable.Course in outstanding condition considering recent weather, dry after a lot of rain. Greens ran medium-fast and true, albeit an inch more sand in the bunkers would have been optimal albeit bunkers werre playable. Fairways good and rough at a fair length.
Front nine of the course clever with a brilliant design presenting various different challenges. Back nine more open and slightly less scenic but with some incredible holes. Course undergoing some work which did not detract from the playing experience but can imagine they will make the track even better to play. Great pace of play.
Absolutely recommend playing here
