What the club says: Remodeled and extended to 18 holes in 2000 Abbeyleix Golf Club now boasts one of the most attractive layouts in the midlands. The par 72 course embodies all that the golfer requires for a satisfying yet challenging round.
When not engrossed in the golf challenge, the natural beauty, peaceful surroundings and spectacular views, can transport one to another world in seconds. The enthusiastic staff offer a warm welcome and quality sustenance in the intimate clubhouse. Located just 1km from the heritage town of Abbeyleix the course is a gem just waiting to be discovered and only 1 hour from Dublin.

Lovely parkland course
In really good condition at the time of playing(late August) and although quite up and down in places wasn't boggy at all, I would say in winter could be very wet in places.Reviewer Rating
