Ok

Not bad for beginners/fun.
Some of the tee boxes were lacking grass which makes the shorter holes where you don’t need to tee up not the best.
The greens are also far from desirable.
The fairways are well maintained, rough isn’t too rough, not too many trees to get stuck in.

The course was in good condition overall. The tee boxes need some attention - they were all rock hard with very little grass. The greens were a bit dry but running fairly true. The ladder to view the 8th green was roped off preventing use. I was disappointed to see a 5 person group out on the course - all playing.

All tee boxes were void of any form of grass have not seen water since the last rain. Most of the greens were fine and quite fast but some were very parched and some were over watered and soggy. It should be made clear that this was during the warmest weather the UK has experienced in a long while.

Good 9 hole course with friendly, helpful staff. Course conditions are good for the most part however tees are extremely worn and need attention; bunkers can sometimes be poor. Overall an enjoyable course and a great day out.

Fairways were as long as the rough.\Tee boxes had hardly any grass on them and were uneven.\Next to no sand in the bunkers.\Greens were really patchy.\\The course itself has a bit of potential and has some nice holes.\Just needs a decent greenkeeper.

Fun nine holes

Interesting course, fairways good, tees a bit tired, bunkers being worked on,
A great combination of holes, and the greens are true.

The good, the bad and the ugly

This may be a little unfair as it's very early in the season and we've had a lot of bad weather but... Most of the tee boxes are bare and uneven. A lot of the fairways have long grass, making your second shot as tricky as coming out of the 1st cut of rough. There are grass cuttings all over. That said, the green keepers appeared to be very busy so it may improve with time. The greens are very fast and in good condition, if the rest of the course was like the greens it would be very good. The course is quite long for a 9 holer and allows you to use all your clubs. The clubhouse is small but clean and the staff are friendly. There's a very nice outdoor seating area overlooking the course.
