Thousands of you have rated the venues you experienced during 2023, but where are the layouts in the UK that most impressed everyday golfers?

Each of the following destinations received a minimum of ten independent reviews this year with a Highly Recommended rating of 100% meaning a perfect score among golfers who would happily replay the course or encourage someone they know to visit there.

Review Comment: "This is a hidden gem nestled in the countryside just outside Manchester and I am very pleased to say it's just a few miles from my home. Fabulous facilities including spa, large indoor pool, fully equipped gym and the lovely and challenging 18 hole golf course that I am lucky to play on a weekly basis, it is beautifully maintained by the ground staff who obviously take pride in their work, as do all the staff."

Recently refurbished clubhouse and kitchen, new chef has improved the food offering. Well worth a visit in drier conditions as on clay."
