Mizuno Tour Custom Fitting Experience

Competition winner Dave Scott couldn’t believe his luck when he found out he’d been selected for a tour pro treatment from Mizuno’s official European Tour Truck.

Dave was fitted by Mizuno Gear Technical Rep Simon Smart who fitted the 6 handicapper with a brand new set of MP-25 (3iron to 5iron) and Mp-5 (6iron to 9iron) irons and three S5 blue wedges.

Dave said: “The thing that shocked me the most was my swing speed. It was almost the same as Luke Donald’s and I’ve moved from a regular Dynamic Gold shaft to a stiff KBS shaft.

“I never expected to learn so much from a 45-minute club fitting session. The technology involved nowadays is incredible.

“It was also nice to be fitted for the swing I have. Not once did Simon try to change my swing.”

It was visible to see how happy the Coxmoor Golf Club member was with his new set of clubs and the overall treatment from Mizuno Golf on the day.

The Mizuno Tour Truck stopped at Moor Allerton on its way to the British Masters at Woburn Golf Club and offered golfers the chance to see what goes on inside an official Tour Truck.
