European Tour Announces New Travel Club

By: Golf Shake | Thu 08 Oct 2015

The European Tour have announced the launch of a new Travel Club, operated by Golfbreaks.com the market leader in golf travel, which will offer access to over 2,000 venues around the world.

Most golf fans can only dream about playing a round of golf with the best player in the world but the new European Tour Travel Club will be offering golf travellers unprecedented access to a unique range of experiences, not only giving them the chance to buy tickets and travel packages to European Tour events, but to be involved in the tournament, too.

Pro-Am places will be available to buy, giving customers the enviable opportunity to tee it up alongside some of the best golfers on the planet, and there will also be options to purchase rounds on the course the day after the tournament finishes.

In addition, the European Tour Travel Club will offer travel packages to the European Tour’s network of world-class venues in their Properties portfolio, as well as a host of tournament venues around the world.

Keith Pelley, Chief Executive of The European Tour, said: "People are increasingly seeking unique experiences on holiday and golfers are no different. Yes, they want the best courses and convenient accommodation, but never before have they been able to access our Pro-Am tournaments or play tournament courses on our schedule as part of a European Tour Travel package.”

The European Tour International Schedule – known as The Race to Dubai – comprises 48 events on four continents in 2015, taking in some of the world’s most exciting destinations, including Hong Kong, Dubai, Shanghai, Paris, Kuala Lumpur and New Delhi.

Keith Pelley added: “The European Tour has the widest global footprint of any professional golf tour, and now we can integrate a superb booking experience for our unparalleled inventory of golf services and products."
