Reader Review - Bushnell Tour v3 Laser
When it comes to Lasers, Bushnell have been in the market from the very start and led the way with new technology advances. We recently got our hands on the Bushnell Tour v3 laser and sent Golfshake reader James Barlow out on the Belfry's Brabazon course to test.
What Bushnell Say
With its ergonomic design and its award-winning PinSeeker with JOLT Technology, the Tour V3 sets the standard for being the complete laser rangefinder package - design, performance and feel.
JOLT Technology eliminates all doubt by delivering short vibrating bursts to reinforce the laser has locked onto the flag. Use what the Pros use, feel the exact distance... FEEL THE JOLT

James Barlow's Review (15 Handicap)
Looks
Very compact and ergonomic, no bells and whistles but I don't want any distractions on course just quick accurate yardages.
Feel
Feels very sturdy and very well put together.
Performance
This was the first time I'd ever used a laser range finder and will definitely not the be the last, the Tour V3 is so easy to use, it picked up the flag in an instant with a reassuring jolt. Which instilled lots of confidence, I've always used a GPS iPhone app, which can sometimes be inaccurate so quite often I stand over the ball lacking confidence that I have the right club in hand. With the Bushnell this was never the case, the confidence of having an exact yardage allowed me commit 100% to the shot and swing without any doubt.
So, it does exactly what it's meant to do perfectly, very quick to lock onto flag and the jolt is an added confidence booster.
Pros
Accurate, quick, simple to use, well put together
Cons
The Bottom Line
I will definitely be putting one of these on my Christmas list, much quicker than an iPhone GPS app, more accurate too and installs total confidence.
I would never have through a laser range finder would make me hit the ball better but knowing you have an exact true yardage allows you to commit 100% to your swing!
James' Rating - 10/10
