TP Tour - Hilson on top at Royal St. Georges

Another strong TP TOUR field gathered at the legendary Open Championship venue, which included Scottish Senior Open winner Mark Davis, Senior tour player and former European Tour winner Gary Emerson, European Tour player Robert Dinwiddie and Eight time Senior Tour winner Bill Longmuir.

Tandridge PGA Professional Mark Hillson was in the first group out and posted a superb two under par score of 68 which included five birdies.

This score was not beaten, the tournament was played from the tips of the back tees, at over 7200 yards a supreme test of golf.

Callum Shinkwin, former English Amateur Champion from Moor Park Golf Club shot a one under par 69 to finish second.
In joint third with 70’s were Connor Fletcher and Jack Colegate.

Hillson picked up a cheque for £2,000 for the win. After four events, Gary Emerson is the TP Tour Order of Merit leader
