Srixon’s Inbee Park Claims Third Successive Major

By: Golf Shake | Tue 02 Jul 2013

Srixon's Inbee ParkSrixon Press Release

Inbee Park has won her third Major tournament in a row after winning the Women’s US Open by four shots, at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y.

The win gives Park her second Women’s US Open title, having won the event in 2008, and keeps Park on course for an unprecedented Grand Slam in the Majors this season, with the Evian Masters and British Open still to come.

The South Korean has now won six tournaments already this season, and has extended her lead at the top of the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

Winning the first three Majors of the season also means Park has achieved a feat only recorded once before in history by Babe Zaharias back in 1950.

Park said: “I'm just very glad that I can put my name in history. Trying to put my name next to hers means just so much. I would think I would never get there; it's somewhere that I've never dreamed of. But all of a sudden, I'm there."

Park currently plays the new Z-STAR™ with SpinSkin™ technology, XXIO® 7 driver, XXIO® Forged irons (5-PW) and Cleveland® 588® wedges (47°, 51°, 56°).  Park wears a Srixon® hat, glove and shoes, and carries a Srixon® bag.
