Rife Putters unveil the Tropical Series

By: Adam Smith | Tue 25 Oct 2011

Rife Putters will unveil its brand new Tropical range this Autumn, giving its Tour proven putters a unique finish that will appeal to anyone with an eye for beauty.

Over the past 4 years Rife Putters have become associated with quality, technology and innovation, blended together to produce putters that the best players in the world take on Tour. With over 30 Tour victories in that time, the quality and roll that Rife Putters give has consistently produced results.

Not content to innovate in areas such as their patented RollGroove technology, Rife has produced a finish for their Tropical range that is truly unique.

Using a system of vacuum Ti plating, Rife has added a ‘Rainbow Finish’ to 3 of it’s most technologically advanced and successful putters, providing a product that is not matched anywhere on the market. Along with the aesthetic benefit, this process also increases the putters’ resistance to wear and prevents any oxidization over time.

Jim Barfield, Chairman of Rife Putters commented, ““Rife has created many innovative and new designs. With the addition of this new and exciting finish it enhances the designs already established as putters the public truly enjoys using on the Golf course. We made these tropical putters look like exclusive collectors items but they are available to all the public.”

The Tropical Series will feature:

The Bimini is a Guerin Rife version of the classic 8802 made famous by Arnold Palmer. This is a classic blade with
subtle variations that make it a Rife. A purists’ putter, the Bimini rubber stamps Rife’s design credentials. There is
a slight raised toe and Rife’s patented RollGroove Face Technology. But unlike every other putter Rife make, the
Bimini does not have the vertical notch on the back edge of the top line. Rife wanted to be certain that this one

was a putter design for the true traditionalist to go with the beautiful Rainbow finish. SRP: £149.99

The Abaco is inspired by one of Guerin Rife’s first designs – the no hosel, ‘Anser’ style 400 mid mallet. The
Abaco is a small mallet that has been designed with the tour player in mind. Complete with Rife’s RollGroove face
technology and Lie-Aline custom fitting system the Tropical Abaco offers all of Rife’s most admired technologies.
SRP: £149.99

The Cayman Brac, takes a traditional look and adds a dimension that makes it distinctly Rife. From a design
standpoint the Cayman Brac features a slant back design and raised top line toward the toe. Its mid-slant hosel
produces a toe-ward weight bias promoting an open to close swing path. The Tropical Cayman Brac also features
Rife"s patented RollGroove face technology and Lie-Aline custom fitting system giving it looks and feel of the
highest quality. SRP: £149.99
