Sub 70 Golf Clothing
Recently I got to wear and test out the feel of Sub 70 clothing a ‘funky’ design brand helping to add ‘funk’ to the golf course.
Personally I like to look good on the golf course as well as trying to play well. Golf has quickly become a fashion conscious sport and I’m happy about this as it brings brands like Sub 70 to the forefront and every brand is trying to outdo one and other in terms of how brash they can be with going overboard.
For Sub 70 though, they have got the partnership just right, stylish and comfortable to wear with the option of making it as loud as you want with some Tartan trousers or a bit of bright colouring in the polo shirt.
Again personally I love the Tartan design, it’s different and with the double pocket design on both pockets and the two back pocket option which I prefer so I was very happy when I got sent these.
Another few nice little touches which I feel makes any piece of clothing is the subtle ‘Sub 70’ logo near the back pocket and the small slit at the bottom on the outside of either trouser leg, which you will find most professionals have these days helping them fit better over the golf shoe.
Shirts
When talking about or thinking of buying the standard golf polo it’s sometimes hard to find the design or the fitting that you like. Sub 70 has four options for you to choose from, the Zane, the Rex, the Xavier and the Groove all available in many different colours and all of them you are able to match to which ever trouser design or colour you like be it plain or Tartan or vice versa buy the trousers to match the polo.
The Zane is your stripy option, but only on the front as its plain on the back. The Rex are my personal favourite. Just a plain shirt available in eight different colours but the fit really is perfect with the addition of a small pocket on the arm which you don’t use but it’s there for design and just to stand out which it does in its subtle but good way.
The Xavier and Groove options are your more different designs with the one and two breast pockets and in Xavier’s case the choice of a more off-set colour from ‘Maroon red’ and ‘Navy blue’.
The Groove has a longer button down option which is the difference between the other three but again personally I like. The two breast pockets stand out against the five colour choices on offer.
Accessories are also available from belts, hats, wristbands and ball markers. In the case of the belts and hats, again you can find one to match your chosen outfit.
New brands are popping up all over the place but I do genuinely like Sub 70. Again this may come down to personally choice as it often does with clothing and for you golfshakers you may think differently but Sub 70 has everything I like in golf clothing, different, comfortable and has it’s subtle design features which is not too outlandish but it’s there if you want it.
Well done guys, great job. I’ll be looking out for some more designs in the future.
