Kwik Golf - Fast Paced Golf
Kwik Golf was launched at Moor Allerton Golf Club and is now through to the final of Barclays Bank’s Take One Small Step Competition.
Developed in the UK, Kwik Golf aims to attract children and young people from all social and economic backgrounds, by providing a new and exciting fast paced take on the game whilst working alongside the existing game.
The PGA of America, Play Golf America & EWGA are running second stage trials in July, with a view to rolling the game out across the US in 10,000+ golf clubs.
Kwik Golf encourages children to move away from their sofas and electronic games and into a more challenging and energetic hobby.

How is Kwik Golf played
Played over three or six holes, teams of two play against the clock. Each second taken is one point and each shot taken is ten points.
Players tee off simultaneously, then race to complete each hole as quickly as they can. The clock stops when the second ball enters the hole.
After each hole the team is given a minimum three minute rest, allowing them time to catch their breath, select the clubs they require for the next hole, and for the game in front to clear the green.
Upon completion of their round, the total points for all holes are added together to give the team their score with handicap adjustment.
Barclays Bank’s Take One Small Step Competition
If the team at Kwik Golf win the Barclays competition, they will use the prize money to help get 30,000+ school kids trying the game of golf.
Please help Kwik Golf to succeed by voting for them to win.
