Since he first emerged onto the professional scene in 1999, Sergio Garcia has put together a career that - not without some turbulence - has been most impressive for its staying power.
It took him 74 major appearances to finally claim one of the sport's grandest titles - The Masters in 2017 - but he was a regular contender across three different decades, winning The Players Championship in 2008 and becoming Europe's record points scorer at the 2021 Ryder Cup.
His move to LIV Golf in 2022 may have lately diminished his standing in the eyes of many, but the Spaniard had spent 453 weeks ranked inside the world's top ten and has shown recently that - at 45 - he still has game.

It'll be a quiet story at the 2025 Masters, but this week's tournament sees Garcia reach a milestone that few have achieved - playing in 100 major championships.
He is just the 19th player in history to accomplish that, tying Nick Faldo on the century and sitting just one behind Davis Love III, Sandy Lyle and Vijay Singh.
Should Garcia compete in The Masters until the age of 60, he will sit among the leading ten appearance makers, which is a testament to his longevity and the fact that from 1999 to 2020, he didn't miss any of the four greatest championships in the sport.
There is no doubt that Garcia divides opinion among golf fans, but for this accomplishment, we doff our proverbial cap to him.
