In our latest video, Ryan tests out four of the new 2025 golf drivers in a swing speed series to examine the impact of swing speed on golf club performance. This feature video focused on swing speeds of around 85mph which are likely what you will see with high handicap golfers and senior golfers.

All four drivers selected are four of the most forgiving drivers in 2025 which include; PING G440 Max, TaylorMade Qi35 Max, Wilson Dynapower Max, and Callaway Elyte X, which are all specifically designed for golfers with slower swing speeds who seek maximum forgiveness.

Ryan provides insights into each of the drivers and results from testing at a clubhead speed of 85mph to show how each driver performs and how they could benefit higher handicap golfers and those aged 50 and above, who are more likely to swing at this pace. Each driver has been adjusted to optimise performance at slower swing speeds, providing insights into the most forgiving options available.
