Cobra Golf DS ADAPT Drivers Review
Ready for the 2025 golf season, Cobra's new DS-ADAPT Drivers are set to make a strong impression in the form of four distinct models that should ensure that all golfers can get their hands on a club that most suits them.
Consisting of DS-ADAPT LS, DS-ADAPT X, DS-ADAPT MAX-K, and DS-ADAPT MAX-D, this is an exciting family of drivers and Golfshake's Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall, couldn't wait to test them from his base at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds.
You can see what he made of them - and hear about the technologies and innovations behind them - by watching the video below or directly on YouTube.
Each of the drivers (all priced £469) are united by having FUTUREFIT33, EXTREME AERO SHAPING, ADAPTIVE WEIGHTING, and H.O.T. Face Technology within them, but there are some key differences.
DS-ADAPT LS Driver
This driver has been created for those golfers with faster swings who require reduced spin rates and enhanced shot-shaping control. The LS model features the most advanced aero through its raised rear aft, highest crown peak, new heel aero shaping, and compact address profile.
DS-ADAPT X Driver
Engineered to favour the widest spectrum of golfers, the DS-ADAPT X is designed to fit a wide range of handicaps and skill levels and features a traditional profile (460 cc) and balanced front/back weighting that delivers a perfect blend of speed and forgiveness.
DS-ADAPT MAX-K Driver
If you're someone who is searching for extra forgiveness, the MAX-K is the likely option for you, as it boasts an incredibly high 10K MOI, which provides extreme forgiveness and consistency. The MAX-K features a slight oversize profile (460cc), and the highest MOI of the four models.
DS-ADAPT MAX-D Driver
Finally, if you desire that same forgiveness but with a draw bias, the MAX-D is your driver, as it offers a slightly oversize shape (460cc), and low, heel-biased CG for slice correcting performance.
