Cobra Golf DS ADAPT Fairway Woods Review
Alongside its new DS-ADAPT Drivers, Cobra Golf has released exciting Fairway Woods for 2025, with the same innovative technologies as the drivers, including FUTUREFIT33, ADAPTIVE WEIGHTING with updated PWR-BRIDGE technology, H.O.T. FACE, and CARBON FIBER CROWN.
Golfshake's Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall, has reviewed the three models (LS, X, and MAX) to see how they perform when tested from his Indoor Performance Centre at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, and to reveal which kind of golfer is best suited to each club.
You can see what he thought by watching the video below or directly on YouTube.
DS-ADAPT LS Titanium Fairway
The new LS (£349) is designed to provide the lowest spin and fastest speed in the DS-ADAPT lineup. A titanium body is paired with a lightweight carbon fiber crown for significant weight savings to allow for 60g of tungsten (34g of internal tungsten and two 13g external weights) positioned low and forward to yield lower spin and the fastest ball speed of the three models. A larger and thinner titanium face insert is optimised with variable thickness H.O.T. Face Technology for improved launch and faster ball speeds on off-centre strikes. The LS is built with the deepest face of the three new DS-ADAPT fairway woods and features FUTUREFIT33 Technology, providing 33 loft and lie combinations for maximised ball flight tuning for the perfect fit. Each fairway features SMARTPAD technology to keep the clubface square at address regardless of loft or lie settings.
DS-ADAPT X Fairway
The DS-ADAPT X (£289) provides the best combination of fast speed and forgiveness of the three new fairway models. The X model utilises a mid to forward positioned PWR-BRIDGE to reduce spin while also allowing for enhanced playability and high launch. The shape of the X model is slightly shallower than the LS to promote higher launch and slightly more spin.
DS-ADAPT MAX Fairway
The MAX (£289) is designed to provide the most forgiveness with draw bias in the DS-ADAPT fairway line and features two discrete moveable weights. You can position the heavier weight in the back for added stability or in the heel for added slice correction. The MAX fairway is designed with the shallowest face of the three models to promote higher launch and increased forgiveness.
