Not to mention the magnificent history aorund the place, a visit to the clubhouse was amazing on its own. As for the course, the condition was fantastic, the layout fantastic, the challenge amazing, if at times too good for me. There is no way you cannot enjoy the whole experience at Ganton. I WILL be back."

Saunton Golf Club

Review Comment: "The course exceeded my expectations, found it a really great test of golf. The greens were true but not too quick, fairways in excellent condition, but it does play long when the wind gets up and although the fairways are generally forgiving enough for you to score well, a bad shot will be punished severely should you go into any of the gorse that lines most of the fairways. All in all it is a proper championship golf course and you will need to be on your game to score well. Will definitely return."

Ferndown Golf Club

Review Comment: "A gem of a course. Ferndown is a proper golf club. Beautiful condition, great practice facilities and lovely food. It is challenging but fair and there is a chance to score well if your game is in good shape."

Review Comment: "This is the oldest golf club in England and the course was designed by Old Tom Morris. It's a fantastic links course with some unusual holes - notably the 4th which features a fairway bunker with a 25ft wall. The course was in great condition with fast undulating greens. The clubhouse is very pleasant and features an array of golfing memorabilia which is well worth a close look. This is a must play course if you find yourself in the vicinity."

Wallasey Golf Club

Review Comment: "Course and greens especially in an amazing condition considering how much rain we have had this winter. You can really see the changes to pathways and run-off areas have bedded in and look fantastic. The flagsticks and tee markers are a very classy touch."

Review Comment: "Seacroft have invested heavily over the last five years to restore the course to its early beginnings. It's a true links course right next to the sea at Skegness with views out over the Wash. It's a course to be proud of and is a great opportunity for visitors to experience links golf, with all of its challenges at a very reasonable price."

Review Comment: "Great fun little layout this. Fairways are mostly generous with some blind fairway bunkers from tees. Avoid those and the green complexes are next thing to catch you out, some of them are very tough. Very enjoyable for golfers of any abilties."
