Srixon Releases Fifth Generation Q-STAR TOUR Golf Ball

Srixon has released the fifth generation of their Q-STAR TOUR golf ball, which is available in several colour variations, namely Pure WhiteTM and Tour YellowTM, in addition to three highly visible Q-STAR TOUR DIVIDE balls.

The Q-STAR TOUR has been engineered to deliver maximum greenside spin and tour-level performance for moderate swing speed players - which is made possible by a reformulated FastLayer Core, softer urethane cover, and Spin Skin* technology.

Creating a faster golf ball while still maintaining great feel begins with the Q-STAR TOUR’s new FastLayer Core. This generation’s reformulated core has a slightly higher compression rating than its predecessor. This new core promotes better ball speed off the tee, while also reducing long-game sidespin in Woods and Irons shots for more accuracy and control. 

Around the greens, the Q-STAR TOUR packs spin and control thanks to its ultra-thin, premium urethane cover that’s now even softer than the previous generation. Srixon’s specialised Spin Skin coating increases friction on every strike by digging deep into club face grooves, maximising spin for more control and stopping power on approach shots. 

To help maximise distance, Srixon’s 338 Speed Dimple Pattern increases lift and reduces drag for a more penetrating ball flight - even in the toughest conditions. 

The Q-STAR TOUR is available in new Pure WhiteTM and Tour YellowTM colourways.

Srixon is also set to release the second generation of the Q-STAR TOUR DIVIDE. With its 50/50 premium urethane cover and 360° alignment, Q-STAR TOUR DIVIDE lets golfers see the game in a whole new way.
