Odyssey TRI-HOT 5K Putter Review

By: Golfshake Editor | Fri 09 Jun 2023

Odyssey's TRI-HOT 5K Putter Range is a premium offering from the popular manufacturer, featuring the acclaimed White Hot insert and Red Stroke Lab shaft and includes tungsten weighing to provide optimal MOI.

These putters come in seven models, in addition to various neck styles that ensure that there should be a putter for everyone as part of this family.

Golfshake Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall, spent time recently at The Springs in Oxfordshire, where he describes the full range, including specific insights into his own model of choice, the TRI-HOT 5K ONE. You can watch his full review on YouTube or at the bottom of this page.

The range has been constructed to improve performance by reducing the amount of side spin on off-centre hits. Odyssey have achieved this through a 303 stainless steel front section that includes the hosel and face area. This material has been finish milled to exact shape and weight, helping to keep the CG forward. This means that putts will remain closer to the original line, with a much tighter dispersion, and a greater chance to go in on less-than-perfect strikes. These putters also have interchangeable front weights that allow you to dial in the head weight in to be ideally suited to you. They are available in aluminium, steel and tungsten, with each material weighing a significantly different amount from the others.

What Ryan Says

"For me, it's the alignment of it, but also the feel, it comes off really nice and soft, so I feel like I can actually commit to the putt and hit through it a little bit more and really get that feedback that I'm looking for. And like I say, it really feels great off the face."
