82 Year Old Jack Nicklaus Still Putts Better Than You
When Jack Nicklaus announced his retirement from the Masters Par 3 Contest, his legions of supporters may have feared that they would never see him roll back the years again, but the legendary American was back in competitive form at the weekend.
Playing in the Greats of Golf Exhibition that was staged alongside the PGA Tour Champions' Insperity Invitational, the 18-time major champion teamed alongside Annika Sorenstam, Lee Trevino, and Gary Player.
Now 82, Nicklaus has physically declined, but his extraordinary touch on the greens has remained intact, as evidenced by his smooth stroke below, converting a birdie putt after Sorenstam's approach.

But later it got even better, as the Golden Bear rolled in the winning putt for the team - as he did across many decades through his storied career.

Such a moment deserved an iconic image, as Nicklaus raised his putter aloft, reminiscent of the moment he holed a crucial birdie putt on the 17th at Augusta National as he secured a memorable sixth Masters title in 1986.

The trademark stance, glove on hand, and ball dropping in the cup, it could have been Jack Nicklaus in 1962. Many years have passed since his heyday, but the result was still the same.
From Pebble Beach to Augusta and St Andrews, no one has done it better on the big stage than the man from Ohio, and it was a joy to have another glimpse of that magic.
The greatest? You bet.
