Motocaddy PRO 3000 Laser Review
Motocaddy have introduced themselves into the rangefinder game, unveiling the new Pro 3000.
A precise algorithm ensures that elevation has been considered and this mode can easily be turned on and off to help comply with tournament regulations.
The pin lock feature allows the golfer to target the flag or desired landing zones with more ease, while also providing an accurate measurement to your intended target.
Every time you have confirmed the target, the device will vibrate and provide a visual alert to ensure that you have locked onto the correct position and not the trees that reside behind the green.
This innovative device also offers clearer views of the course by providing 7x magnification that also comes equipped with an adjustable eyepiece adjuster to provide ultimate ease of use.
Distances are simple to understand through the high-resolution LCD display - regardless of light conditions on the course.
The range capability is extraordinary, as the device is able to read distances between 5 - 1300 yards, while it will also be able to lock onto targets up to 450 yards away.
The compact and lightweight design has rubber textured grips to ensure that the device sits comfortably into the hand.
This rangefinder can clip onto Motocaddy trolleys or, if you prefer to carry, the elastic helps to keep it secured to the bag while you are traversing the course.
Golfshake Equipment Expert Ryan Rastall tested the device out on the course and he was impressed by the extensive capabilities on offer.
“Having played a full round with the Pro 3000 laser from Motocaddy, I found it really easy to use. The display is different from what I have previously used in the past and while it did take a little time to get used to it, it’s been so simple to operate.
“The device is absolutely brilliant and I love the way it vibrates when you have locked onto the target that you require - there’s no guesswork involved at all!”
RRP: £249
