Hell For Leather Headcover Review
REVIEW: Hell For Leather Headcover
Review by Golfshake Ambassador Mel Davies
Devised by seasoned golfers during the first coronavirus lockdown in the UK, Hell For Leather has been established to address the perceived lack of personalisation available with regards to headcovers.
After a few months of research every night, and a fair bit of practice, the guys bought an embroidery machine and sewing machine and began to get to work, leaning on a background in graphic design to create unique products from premium materials. Since launching at the end of October 2020, the new brand has already shipped to over 14 different countries around the world.
Hell For Leather put their own individual spin on headcovers. With only limited runs available for each product, it means that headcovers are individual and won't be used by many other golfers.
Looks
The headcover they did specifically for me with the Golfshake logo on the rear looks as good as anything else out there that I’ve seen. Quality leather outer with very detailed stitching really make it stand out from others in my opinion.
Feel
It just exudes quality from the moment you pick it up. Lovely feeling leather, great detailed embroidery and a lovely soft inner lining to protect the clubs.
Performance
Fits like a glove as the saying goes. Looks great in the bag and keeps the club nicely protected which to be honest is what headcovers are there for.
Verdict
Pros
I love the individuality of the cover and the other gear they do. Even the packaging it came in was better than anything I have ever received golf wise or anything else as a matter of fact. They also put in a nice added touch of a ball marker.
Cons
None!
The Bottom Line
Great service and top quality from start to finish. If you’re looking for something different and of the highest quality, Hell For Leather can offer that in an abundance. Garry has been great to deal with from the outset. I personally love stuff that separates itself from other gear and these really offer that.
