Cobra extends top-selling Baffler franchise with new maximum forgiveness fairway wood

Cobra Golf announces the introduction of the new Baffler Rail Fairway, an entirely new class of long-game performance clubs for players seeking maximum forgiveness, power and control from the fairway.

 

Thirty-five years ago, Cobra launched the original Baffler utility metal and revolutionised the way golfers play long approach shots. In 2004, the tradition continued with the introduction of the Baffler hybrid, followed by the Baffler DWS, then Baffler TWS models, which continued to build the outstanding reputation of the Baffler franchise. This year, with inspiration drawn from years of knowledge, Cobra introduces the Baffler Rail Fairway, the perfect complement to the Baffler Rail Hybrid.

COBRA BAFFLER RAIL FAIRWAY

Cobra’s Baffler Rail Fairway features a sleek-looking, 17-4 steel clubhead that has a thin, high-strength 465 maraging steel clubface designed to increase ball speed and distance. The elongated clubface and low-profile head result in a low, deep centre of gravity – to help golfers launch the ball with ease – and a high Moment of Inertia for maximum forgiveness. The Baffler Rail Fairway also benefits from the same innovative four-way rail sole design employed in the new Baffler Rail Hybrid, which reduces the area of the club that comes into contact with the ground, and provides more consistent ball contact and improved control. The Baffler Rail Fairway also features a premium, high-performance Fujikura Motore shaft for optimum distance and control.
