Golfshake Reveals Outstanding Venues For 2021

As golfers prepare for the new season in the hope that 2021 will be a continuation of the magnificent boom of last year, Golfshake is delighted to share those golf clubs and resorts that qualify for our new OUTSTANDING VENUE Service Award, which brings together destinations that should be on the list of everyone throughout the months ahead.

Only 198 venues have received this accolade, which has been awarded to those deserving institutions that have impressively achieved Highly Recommended status for each of the last three years.

Calculated by analysing the independent reviews submitted in the Course Section by the Golfshake Community, the successful venues recorded at least ten unique ratings entered by golfers during each of the relevant years (2018, 2019 and 2020), with over 90% of them stating they would recommend the experience to someone else.

The diversity of the qualified venues reflects the rich depth of quality that we can enjoy on these islands, from iconic championship layouts to understated gems that offer exceptional value for money, there is something for everyone, but they all come united here as being OUTSTANDING.

Among them, you'll see names like; Woburn Golf Club, Cavendish Golf Club, Toot Hill Golf Club, St Andrews Links, Nefyn & District Golf Club, Old Thorns, The Grove, The Shire London, Prince's Golf Club, Enville Golf Club, Carnoustie Golf Links, The Belfry, and Forest of Arden.

Service Excellence

To achieve Highly Recommended status over a season represents the quality of service that a venue provides, from the hospitality to facilities and quality of the golf course. But to succeed in meeting that criteria over consecutive years, underlines that the experience offered to everyday golfers is one that is memorable, recognised, and truly OUTSTANDING.
