PING G425 Fairway Woods Review

By: Golfshake Editor | Mon 08 Feb 2021

Golfshake's Ryan Rastall has tested and reviewed three new fairway woods from PING, which include the G425 LST, MAX, and SFT. All feature new Facewrap Technology to improve face flexing to help improve ball speed and forgiveness. They are also available with the Arccos Smart Caddie Grips.

Taking a closer look at the three models, the G425 LST is more traditional looking with a smaller profile and aimed at players with a higher club head speed and is available in 14.5 degrees. The G425 MAX is a slightly larger footprint which will suit the majority of players and is available in 3,5,7 & 9 wood (14.5, 17.5, 20.5, 23.5 degrees). Finally, the G425 SFT features a larger head and is draw bias to help players that have a fade/slice tendency and is available in 3, 5, 6 wood (16,19,22 degrees). All also provide adjustability.

Putting them to the test at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, Ryan provides a full, detailed overview.
