TaylorMade SIM2 Driver Review (SIM2, MAX, MAX D)
Through its new SIM2 Drivers, TaylorMade has sought to continue the evolution of the original design, which saw the club reshaped to deliver speed and aerodynamics right before impact - with the focus now being placed on promoting enhanced forgiveness while retaining those established launch conditions.
Differentiating between the three drivers, SIM2 MAX has been engineered to be even more forgiving, while the SIM2 MAX D has a draw bias and weighted heel. The standard SIM2 Driver was created to provide performance that is low on spin and high on forgiveness.
Golfshake's Ryan Rastall, the Head Professional at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, has tested and reviewed the three models for us, describing the technology and using TrackMan to analyse the performance of the drivers, offering a comprehensive overview of the new SIM2 Family.
