Predict the Masters Champion to Win a UK Golf Holiday

By: Golfshake Editor | Thu 05 Nov 2020

This year's most unique of Masters Tournaments will provide a welcome distraction from the anxieties of 2020, but looking ahead to better days, the QHotels Group is offering a striking competition to win a golf break for 16 people at any of its acclaimed resorts.

The UK’s largest golf resort operator is offering one lucky person the chance to take 15 of their friends on a two-night golf holiday to one of its seven award-winning venues in England and Scotland, simply by predicting the top three at Augusta in the correct order.

To be taken next summer, ‘The QHotels Masters Challenge’ prize includes three rounds of golf per person, as well as bed-and-breakfast accommodation and dinner each night.

Tiger Woods stunned the world last year when he claimed his fifth Green Jacket and 15th Major of his career in unforgettable style at the world’s most iconic golf tournament.

Woods will be back at Augusta to defend his title when the rearranged event takes place, but he will face stiff competition led by world number one Dustin Johnson.

A host of other previous Masters winners including Jordon Spieth, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia will also be targeting another Green Jacket, Rory McIlroy will be hoping to finally complete his career ‘Grand Slam’, while who can discount big-hitting Bryson DeChambeau following the American’s runaway victory at last month’s US Open?

Richard Moore, group chief executive of the QHotels Group, said: “People have had to put up with a lot this year and this is an opportunity to put the smile back on their faces and get involved in the most iconic tournament in world golf.

“There’s nothing quite like The Masters to get the pulses racing, especially going into the last nine holes on the final day. This year’s tournament looks wide open and it will be fascinating to see how it unfolds.”

The QHotels Group operates seven top golf resorts in England and Scotland: Belton Woods, in Grantham, Lincolnshire; Dunston Hall, in Norwich; Oulton Hall, Leeds; Slaley Hall, in Hexham, Northumberland; Telford Hotel & Golf Resort, in Shropshire; DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort, in Brigg; and DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Spa & Golf Resort.

Entries for the ‘The QHotels Masters Challenge’ close at midday on Thursday, November 12. Any submissions after that will not be entered. For the competition’s full terms and conditions and to take part, go to https://www.qhotels.co.uk/golf/the-qhotels-masters-challenge-landing-page/.
