486,000 Net Birdies or Better Tracked During Golfshake #BirdieClub

By: Golfshake Editor | Fri 04 Sep 2020

Following eight weeks of qualifying rounds submitted by the Golfshake Community, a staggering 486,000 net birdies or better were recorded in the Score Tracker during the Golfshake #BirdieClub.

Encouraging golfers to Play More & Play Better, these whirlwind two months saw over 100,000 eligible rounds tracked, representing a 60% increase year-on-year for the Score Tracker, something that was part of a hot summer of golf.

Reflecting on the closing fortnight of #BirdieClub, birdies were harder to come by with no one recording seven or more birdies and only a handful of the better players recording six birdies in a round. Net birdies or better dropped from 4.55 to 4.35 for the past two weeks, but nine golfers did record 12 net birdies.

Each week, four Prize Draw winners claimed a batch of acclaimed Callaway Chrome Soft Golf Balls, and here are the final eight.

Week 7 Winners

Michael Connell

Steve Evans

Lewis Robinson-Hoare

Terry Blizzard

Week 8 Winners

Stewart Agnew

Steve Cuss

Gareth Eggle

Fraser Handley

Congratulations to them!

Now that the Summer #BirdieClub has concluded, for those keen Score Tracker users, look out for a new Challenge that will be launched in the near future, with more prizes and achievements waiting to be secured!
